If you have visited Tally Tales Literacy lately, then you've likely noticed some changes. I have been working hard to streamline my web site to allow better access to structured literacy and dyslexia resources. Here are some of the changes you'll see:
A new banner that allows for direct access to Structured Literacy and Dyslexia menus.
Simply click "Learn more" in either area to open a one-stop-shop of information and resources!
Under the Structured Literacy tab, you will have access to an overview of Scarborough's Reading Rope, structured literacy materials for your classroom, helpful web sites, videos about structured literacy, teacher resources, and recommended reading material.
Under the Dyslexia tab, you will have access to an overview of dyslexia, helpful web sites that focus on dyslexia, videos about dyslexia, parent resources, and recommended reading material.
As on the original homepage, I have a menu of options that address specific areas of instruction within a structured literacy approach. As you can see below, this includes phonics, phonological awareness, word recognition, and morphology.
For each one, I have provided specific information, materials, and online resources that, I hope, will help strengthen your instruction with some of the individual aspects of structured literacy.
My goal is to make it easier for parents and teachers to access the information they need so they don't have to spend hours hunting for trustworthy resources. Everything I've provided here is free, so come browse!
As always, remember that the Tally Tales TPT Store is filled with great materials for your Structured Literacy classroom. I have several new products in the works there as well; make sure you follow my TPT store so you don't miss out on any of those new products!
